I. Contract Farming |

Contract farming is an institutional arrangement
between the farmeres and the agro-processing or exporting units
or traders, devised to ensure a regular supply of product to the
latter at a negotiated price. |

We Svm exports doing a contract farming with the
farmers. Contract farming is very much suitable for perennial crops
such as Jatropha, which involves larger initial costs, which may
hinder its cultivation if there is not assured marketing opportunity

Already we are doing 500 Hectares of jatropha on
contract farming. Our target is to reach more than 7000 Hectares
within 2008. |

jatropha products in TamilNadu. We have a global buyers for jatropha
products. We are gaining new buyers directed by the old buyers. |

We are exporting Jatropha curcas germination seed
100-200 MT/Month. Exporting Oil seeds of jatropha around 500-1000MT/Month.
Crude jatropha Oil 200-300 MT/Month. And Oil cake 400Mt/ Month. |
